Heavenly citizens
A chance is in reach
A higher priced calling
An Assignment to teach

Through humanity’s cry
I’ve become more aware
Of a gavel’s conviction
From an Eternal Court’s chair

Seeing chaos in words
And visual verbs
The thought of both
Heavily disturbs

‘Tis an appointment divine
In my fear, I’m not weak
Because apathy denied
Is a softly kissed cheek
