WANT TO KNOW if a restaurant has good food? Ask the people who eat there. Want to know if Summit Ministries is the right place for teens and young adults to attend? Read the quotes listed throughout their Website to see what students are saying about their Summit experience.

IN THE BEGINNING—Founded in 1962, Dr. Noeble had a clear focus on what Summit Ministries would achieve for teens and young adults. Especially those who have a desire to know intellectually what they believe and how it fits or doesn’t fit in today’s world. “…Our ultimate goal supersedes simply training … [students] are challenged to stand strong in their faith and defend truth, they will also be equipped to have a positive influence on the society in which they live.”

Courses taught at Summit guide students to engage their minds as they process the information presented to them. Debates between students are encouraged as part of the progression that helps them develop their own worldview.

SUMMIT STAYS ON TOP of what's happening in world cultures and doesn’t shy away from current issues (go online and read about, “Why Wisdom is More Important than Intelligence—New York Governor Eliot Spitzer is an intelligent man who scored 1590 out of 1600 on the SAT test, attended Princeton University, Harvard Law School…and was a possible future presidential candidate. How could such a smart person make such an unwise decision?”).

Check out the online Worldview Chart: —At the Website, click “HOME” and you’ll find the link at the bottom. Summit’s informational chart provides an accurate description on all world religions, including Biblical Christianity, and clearly defines what each believes. It’s important to know more than Biblical Christianity—you should know about other world religions and understand about the Marxism/Leninism, Secular Humanism, and Cosmic Humanism belief systems.

Do you politely debate a hot topic on religion with someone who thinks differently than you do? Or does your conversation progress to two hotheads yelling at each other?

Once we’ve made the decision to become a follower of Christ, we must make that inner commitment to study the Scriptures and follow what he taught, even when it’s contrary to our nature. Scripture says, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” 1 Peter 4:4.

Can you do that? If not, enroll in one of the conferences and develop your mind’s muscle. Contact Summit Ministries at www.summit.org or via telephone: 719.685.9103
